Mark W Hudson, LNFA
With a formal education in Health Services Administration and a concentration in Long Term Care, Mark started his career as a Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator in Houston for a nationally managed chain of Skilled Nursing Facilities. Making the change to physical medicine management was a natural transition in 1996 as a Rehab Program Manager for a unique company out of Alpharetta, Georgia. In 1999 he formed Brookhaven Healthcare Services with the support of three other healthcare entrepreneurs to provide “In House” therapy for a San Antonio Skilled Nursing Facility operator. Mark has managed skilled nursing faciltiy rehabilitation progams under the Prospective Payment System since its inception in 1998, balancing patient outcomes with financial performance.
Director of Clinical Services
Steven Nelson, OTR
As the Director of Clinical Services, Steve plays a vital role in ensuring that Brookhaven clinics and staff are up to date with regard to the latest rules, regulations and treatment approaches affecting the healthcare industry. Steve is, himself, licensed as an occupational therapist – receiving his B.S. in Occupational Therapy from TWU in 1991. He has worked with a variety of patient populations in various care settings; including inpatient and outpatient, spinal cord injury, home health and long term care.
Steve has a strong interest and background in the “tech” side of operations as well, and believes strongly in employing the latest in technological advances wherever they may prove beneficial yet not diminish the human side of delivering care to those in our care.
Director of Recruiting
Vicky Bolton
Vicky joins the Executive Team at Brookhaven with six years of directly related recruiting experience in the Allied Health arena and direct the recruiting efforts of PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs and Rehab Techs. Additionally, Vicky has experience recruiting: Physicians, Director of Nursing, Nurse Practioner and Physician Assistant as well as support staff. Prior to her recruiting career she owned her own temporary staffing company for two years. She is retired from twenty three and one half years in the Air Force and Air Force Reserves as a full-time Technician with the last nineteen years were in Personnel Services. Vicky retired from the Air Force in 2001.
Vicky's strengths are in building relationships with clinicians in the areas of need and working with current employees in helping to build and foster those relationships.
